Looking Back at Hippo Thinks’ 2017

We’ve come a long way, baby. This October marked four years since Hippo Thinks first helped a client publish in Forbes. Since then, we’ve grown from a small side project of Hippo Reads to become a thriving company in our own right. 2017 was a year of major growth and expansion for the company and for our team. Here are some highlights:

Our company grew to new heights

  • We placed in new publications including Quartz, Women’s Wear Daily, and U.S. News & World Report
  • The publication we placed in most frequently was a more familiar one: Forbes
  • We produced 33% more content than we did in 2016 and onboarded 12 new clients
  • We were delighted to extend our work with the Department of Homeland Security and Verizon, and began engagements with GE, Cushman Wakefield, Xero, and Wunderman
  • We added academic network members from Johns Hopkins University, University of Chicago, and the Salk Institute of Biological Studies
  • We welcomed new staff members including Diane Prince, our new US Head of Sales, and Jaimie Seaton, our new Associate Editor
